Wiste is a collection of projects by Michael Buining that embrace a multitude of musical styles into a single family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Pieces” is a singer\/songwriter project with stories of gentle love. “Another Somewhere” is in the Middle-of-the-Road \/ Country genre with extrospective songs, many being from songwriting commissions; and “Desire” is a 1970’s inspired blues\/rock collection that focus on a rythmic vibe that varies throughout the project culminating in an 8-minute epic largely instrumental journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yet to be released is “Serenity Now”- a collection of instrumental ambience; “The Darkness”- a blues, roots & dark country collection; and “Aaarrrgh”- a set of heavy-hard rock stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project came about after over a decade of songwriting, recording, performing and a long term search for a musical home that ended up in diverse places and spaces that are sometimes worlds apart but are united together through themes of love, longing, desperation and hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
